    Learning Outcomes
- Can explain basic concepts such as CAD & CAM, can recognize the AutoCAD screen and menus and can apply the opening and closing of an existing drawing, SAVE, END, and QUIT commands in order to exit the drawing screen. Can use the commands such as LIMITS, UNITS, GRID, SNAP, ORTHO so as to prepare AutoCAD screen for a drawing and can explain the coordinate systems (absolute, relative, and polar)
- Line draws by applying circle and arc drawing commands (LINE, CIRCLE, ARC, VIEWRES). Makes applications by using APERTURE and POINT commands with settings related OSNAP command options.
- Can use the viewing commands (ZOOM, PAN, REDRAW, REGEN), the corner rounding and chamfering commands (FILLET, CHAMFER), partial wiping commands (BREAK, TRIM).
- It uses move and sequencing commands (MOVE, COPY, ARRAY, OFFSET), mirror image and rotation commands (MIRROR, MIRRTEXT, ROTATE) in the drawing.
- It uses other drawing commands (ELLIPSE, POLYGON, RECTANGLE, TRACE, FILL, SOLID, DONUT, POLYLINE, SKETCH). It applies extension and stretching commands (EXTEND, STRETCH). Uses scale and origin (SCALE, ORIGIN) commands. Instructors teach new commands updated in the software.
