    1 Introduction to the plant growth media. The history of plant growth media and use on ornamentals. Chapter 1 from K1 should be read. Chapter 1 from K2 should be read. Chapter 1 from K3 should be read.
    2 Some basic concept of ornamentals growth media. Chapter 2 from K1 should be read. Chapter 2 from K2 should be read.
    3 Choice of materials used in plant growth media. Compare with soil plant growth media and soilless plant growth media. Chapter 3 from K1 should be read. Chapter 3 from K2 should be read.
    4 Soil and plant growth media with soil. Chapter 3 from K1 should be read. Chapter 3 from K2 should be read.
    5 Organic growth media (peat) and use on ornamentals. Chapter 4 from K1 should be read. Chapter 1, 2, 3 from K4 should be read.
    6 Organic growth media (bark, sawdust) and use on ornamentals. Chapter 5 from K1 should be read. Chapter 1 from K5 should be read.
    7 Organic growth media (spent mushroom compost, coco peat) and use on ornamentals. Chapter 6 from K1 should be read.

    Goals Teach to cultivation techniques in different environments of herbaceous and woody ornamental plants which are living materials for the landscaping study. Especially, introduce the organic and inorganic materials used in ornamental plant production.
    Content It examines the physical and chemical properties of plant growing media and includes the advantages and disadvantages of soil and soilless culture.
