    1-Evaluates mental health and abnormal symptoms in the early period.
    2-Explains the psychological changes that can be experienced during pregnancy and puerperium
    3-Evaluates the woman and the family in psychosocial terms in the pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and postpartum period.
    4-Explains the importance of monitoring, researching and analyzing new developments.

    Goals This course is to guide the midwifery student to understand the basic mental health concepts and deviations from the mental state to be used in care and to use these concepts in the field.
