    1-In world cinema, especially II. Recognize the social, cultural and historical changes in European cinema after the World War.
    2-Recognizes and explains the contributions of developing contemporary movements or events to modern cinema.
    3-Defines German, Italian, French, American and British Independent Cinemas, compares and interprets movies belonging to current trends.
    4-Understands the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the countries where important cinema events take place.

    Goals To gain knowledge about the basic features of French, British, German and Italian cinemas. To recognize the important cinema trends and understandings, to be able to interpret the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the countries that have realized these cinema events, to know the exemplary films of the cinema events and to know the important directors, to learn the contributions of these cinema events to world cinema and modern cinema.
    Content In this course, the main features and historical developments of French, British, German and Italian cinemas from European countries are examined. Information is given about the important movies, directors and actors of these countries.
