    Goals The main aim of the course is to understand the sources of the Ottoman intellectuals and the ways in which the Ottoman intellectuals translate Western philosophy and how they interpret it.
    Content The intellectuals and their works that lived in the period from Tanzimat to the Republic and which influenced the Ottoman thought with their thoughts constitute the scope and content of the course.
