Goals
|
Basic goal of the course is to make students conceive beginning of the process of Modern Turkish Literature.
This course is detailed social, cultural and literary activities in the period of the Tanzimat. In this course, selected examples from the works of writers and poets Tanzimat period and understanding of their art and literature are studied.
It is tried to show in what ways the modernization reflects on our culture and literature by the help of novels have been written in the era.
