    1 Introduction, scope and field of Ottoman Turkish
    2 The teaching aims of Ottoman Turkish
    3 Turkish alphabets and Ottoman Turkish alphabet among them, converting Ottoman Turkish Alphabet to a common hand writing and comparisons with text book
    4 Agglutination rulers of Ottoman Turkish; the functions of wovels and consonants, classification and divi,sion of letters in Ottoman Turkish
    5 Exercises related to the identification and classification of letters belonging to Arabic, Persian and Turkish
    6 Providing students the skills to write some words starting with their own names and surnames; teaching the Arabic numbers and exercises about writing them, the stereotypical affixes and their applications in Ottoman Turkish; the notion of transcription and the alphabet of transcription; transcription text practices
    7 Depending on the memorization skills of students having students writing a commonly memorized text (eg. National Anthem) and reading practices under the light of taught things

    Goals The aim of this course is reading the texts written in Arabic alphabet which was used about ten centuries by Turks and called as Ottoman Turkish and teaching the method to transfer into Latin Alphabet and providing the texts to be understood correctly.
