These works are Ahmet Özcan (Popular historiography in Turkey that will be published in 2011: Turkish Historical Society, Ankara), popular historical books, magazines, novels that has been written until now.

Goals
|
To instruct popular historiography that is an outside area of the academic historiography and positive and negative aspects of this field of academic history as theoretical and practical.

Content
|
The beginning of modern historiography and the popular historiography in Turkey; prior to these, examples of both scientific and popular historiography during Ottoman era; the transformation of history writing via newspapers and magazines; the effects of various tools that popularized history in the 20th century; the tools that are theatre, cinema, radio and television so on develop the outside of historical texts.
