This course aims to teach students the political and cultural history of the Hellenistic and Roman civilizations, which left important traces in history, and to equip students with the basic knowledge of Ancient History.

Aegean Basin, Understanding of Antiquity and Greek History, Greek Medieval Age: Dorian Migrations and Its Effects, Greece After Dorian Invasion, Archaic Period (7th and 6th Centuries BC): Sparta and Athens States, Classical Age of Greek History (BC 5th Century), Hellenistic Civilization, Alexander the Great and the Age of Hellenism, Italy in Prehistoric Ages: Italians, Greeks, Phoenicians, Etruscans, Latins and the Foundation of Rome, Kingdom Period (735-510 BC), Republic Period ( BC 509-31), Imperial Period (30 BC-476 AD), The Birth and Spread of Christianity, the Roman Empire in the 4th and 5th Centuries, Roman Civilization.
