Goals
|
The scope of records management. Planning a records management program: Surveying records, designing the program. The records centre: design and operation. Techniques of records management: filing operations, retention schedules, disposal schedules, appraisal, and transfer to archives.

Content
|
In this course as evidence of the existence of organizations the requirements for managing all processes from the production of records to their archiving are explained. In this context, the emergence of the records management discipline, its development, the necessity for institutions and the principles of the records management program are given.
