    Goals The aim of this course is to provide students with a basic knowledge of various intervention methods commonly used in clinical psychology. In addition to providing students with an idea about clinical neuropsychology and clinical child psychology disciplines, which are also essential in current mental health practices, introducing the basic principles and methods of clinical assessment in children is among the other objectives of this course.
    Content The content of this course includes topics such as some psychotherapy methods commonly used in clinical psychology, alternative forms of clinical intervention (context/ social focused and preventive/ supportive interventions), technological innovations affecting psychological treatment, clinical neuropsychology, the history of clinical child psychology and some essential field-specific issues, basic principles and methods in the clinical assessment process in children.
