Goals

The history of the science of ecology and related concepts are introduced. For this purpose, aims to teach the basic concepts and principles of ecology.

The definition of ecology, history and ecology sections. Concepts related to spatial ecology and vibrant communities. Minimum Liebig Concept, tolerance law, the concept of optimum and limiting factors. Ecological relationships, and ecological factors, the concept and classification of ecological factors. Climate factors (light, temperature), and the effects of living beings. Climate factors (humidity, precipitation, wind), and the effects of living beings. Edaphic factors and the effects of living beings. Biotic factors (competition, nutrition, symbiosis et al.) Population ecology (structural characteristics of the population) Population growth and the balance of the population. Ecology of communities (community concept and characteristics of the species that make up comunity). Structural and functional properties of communities. The concept of ecosystem and ecosystem elements and functional characteristics of the ecosystem.
