Goals
|
Explanation of the importance of nature conservation priority for biology students Emphasizing the importance of biodiversity and ecosystem diversity will play an active role in the direction of the developing of nature conservation consciousness. Protected areas, international and national conventions, legislation and regulations, along with the basic principles and the principles of nature conservation will be processed and discussed. The course is enriched with examples.

Definition, purpose, importance and necessity of nature protection, biodiversity and ecosystem diversity concepts, the relationship between nature conservation and sustainable development, protected area definitions and relevant international-national conventions and regulations, national parks, nature conservation areas, natural parks, natural monuments, natural protected areas, wildlife development areas, special environmental protection areas, wetlands, biogenetic reserve areas, species protection, development plans, important nature areas, important plant areas, important bird areas, protection zones, protection-usage balance, IUCN threat categories, EUNIS habitat types and importance, threats, suggestions.
