Goals
To inform chemical engineering bachelor students
About basic principles of commonly used unit operations in industry like distillation, extraction, absorbtion and drying.
About area of usage, limitation and advantages of each operation and by this way bring them to earn ability to choose most proper operation for a process involving seperation.
About calculations belong to unit operations and by this way bring them to earn ability to design seperation units if required
Content
Equilibrum, mass transfer between phases, distillation, absorbtion-desorbtion, liquid-liquid extraction, solid-liquid extraction, cristallization, evaporation.
