Historical development of mental health, mental health measures. Theories about mental health, developmental periods. Factors affecting mental health are protective factors in terms of child mental health. The effects of special circumstances within the family (divorce, step-parents, parent`s death, etc.) on the child`s mental health. Child neglect and abuse, traumatic situations. Problems in childhood.
