It is aimed to learn and apply the working principles of molecular biological methods used in medical laboratories for genetic diagnosis.

Introduction of general tools and equipment used in molecular biology laboratory, working rules in molecular biology laboratories, isolation and amplification of DNA and RNA from blood and tissues, visualization and interpretation of amplified products in agarose gel electrophoresis, types of polymerase chain reaction, determination of nucleic acid quantity.
