Goals
|
It is to give and introduce students the necessary information about some of the museums, ruins and ancient cities in Turkey that they will always need in their professional life.

This course, which will be conducted as a face-to-face training for the students, includes the following topics:
The emergence and development stages of museum
Museum types and definitions
The first excavations being permission and without permission and historical artifact smuggling
Examples from the museums in Istanbul (Hagia Sophia and archeology museum)
Kariye, Painting and Sculpture Museum
Mosaic-Rumelian castle-Topkapi palace museums
Dolmabahçe palace and yerebatan palace museums
Examples from Ankara Museum (Anatolian Civilizations and Ethnography Museum)
