    Content The content of the course includes environment, species, population, community, habitat, ecology, ecosystem,flora and fauna concepts, history and development of ecology, Nature of ecosystems, forest ecosystem and world forests, biodiversity, global distribution of biodiversity and its causes, phytogeographic regions of the earth, zoogeographic regions of the earth, Turkey`s biogeography, Turkey`s natural habitats II (steppes, forests), Turkey`s natural habitats II (streams, mountains, maquis, wetlands, coasts and seas), Turkey`s plants, Turkey`s Important tree and mushroom species, Turkey`s birds, Turkey`s mammals, Turkey`s amphibians and reptiles, Turkey`s domestic water fish, Turkey`s butterflies, Turkey`s libellae, Turkey`s other the animal presence, the importance of Turkey`s nature on a global scale, important natural area approach, the scale of the important natural area criteria, important natural areas and the European Union Natura 2000 areas, the concept of zero and the destruction of important natural areas, Turkey and the European biodiversity comparison, Turkey`s protected areas, Ilgaz Mountain National Park, Kadınçayırı Nature Park, global warming and ecosystems, invaders, the future of ecosystems.
