Goals
|
Introduction of technical ceramics for special engineering needs beside conventional ceramics, teaching production techniques and application fields.

Content
|
Copper and Copper alloys, Aluminum and Alloys from non-ferrous metal alloys, Magnesium etc. introduction of metals, techniques of making molds and matches. Spray and feeder applications, Protective and cleaning materials used for ergitme (Flaks). Melting furnaces, crucibles and fuels used in melting. Calculation of alloy loss and melting losses. Casting mistakes and prevention of these mistakes, Ornamental works (fine works) and coloring of these works. Safety measures to be taken during melting.
