Goals
The aim of the course is to provide an understanding of all ore preparation processes applied to produce concentrates used in extractive metallurgy processes from ores. Understanding the relationship between ore structure/property and ore preparation processes. In addition, it is to ensure that the ore preparation process stages required for the production of industrial raw materials in accordance with the standards are designed.
Content
Causes and economics of ore preparation, grain liberalization and theories, principles of size reduction, crushing and grinding, crushing and grinding devices, crushing and grinding circuits, classification methods, classification devices, sieving and sieve analysis, physical and chemical properties of minerals used in beneficiation processes, size. and shape separation, magnetic and electrostatic separation, flotation, ore preparation, design of process flow charts and related calculations.
