    Goals The main aim of this course is to enable students to show forest zones and their distribution in Turkey and examine their silvicultural characteristics.
    Content Introductions. Concepts, principles of silviculture. Vegetation and climate in Euxine forest zones, northwestern Euxine forests, middle Euxine forests, eastern Euxine forests. Steppe forest region in eastern Thrace. Quercus pubescens steppe forest region in interior Anatolia. Eastern Anatolia steppe forest region. Southeastern Anatolia steppe forest region. Mediterranean forest zones in southern Anatolia, Aegean region. Silvicultural results.
