Goals

It is aimed to provide students with general knowledge about microbiology laboratory rules, laboratory equipment, preparation of media by applying sterilization methods, taking appropriate samples and planting in media.

Rules to be followed in the microbiology laboratory, use of microscope, staining methods, sterilization and disinfection methods, media preparation, bacterial cultivation, isolation methods, identification of bacteria, antibiotic resistance tests, evaluation and interpretation.
