Goals

This is expected from the student at the end of the course: Recognizing women`s health from a holistic perspective in gyne-oncology nursing, identifying problem areas and discussing solutions to problems with evidence-based nursing practices, analyzing the importance of care, discussing nursing interventions regarding the adaptation of individuals with gynecological cancer to the disease, determining the weaknesses and strengths of gynecological cancer individuals and families in coping with the disease, defining home care and its importance in gyne-oncology, roles and responsibilities of nurses in home care.

Career in nursing gyneoncology in The World and Turkey (Gyneoncology nursing, roles and responsibilities, legal issues, etc.), epidemiology and etiology of gynecological cancers, prevention, screening, risk factors and early diagnosis: barriers opportunities, current treatment and nursing approaches, complementary - alternative treatment and nursing approaches, evaluation of individuals and families with gynecological cancer, psychosocial status and coping methods, genetic counseling, palliative care, home care, and covid-19 global pandemic: gynecological cancers and published guidelines.
