Goals
|
Gaining the skill of reading, examining and electronically transcribing manuscripts of Old Anatolian Turkish. Introducing the characteristic features of the first written texts of Oghuz language and revealing the dialect features by examining the selected manuscript texts from a linguistic perspective.

Content
|
The historical process from the formation of Old Anatolian Turkish to the present is explained and important works are introduced. Phonetic, morphological and features of Old Anatolian Turkish are examined on the text. Practices are made for transferring old manuscripts to today`s Turkish.
