    4-Within this context , myth, tale, legend, folk tale, epic, anecdote, rhyme, riddle, proverb, mania, folk song, lament, lullaby, idiom, prayer-curse etc. explain the types.

    Goals The analysis of works such as epics, legends, folk tales, mani, songs, rhymes, riddles, proverbs, idioms of minstrels, bakshies,fable narrators, ciravs and folk poets who have great efforts to bring the national memory of Turkish nation throughout the history up to now and the analysis of the products of Contemporary Turkish people.
    Content Folk, folklore and folklore concepts, motif concept and evaluation of motif in terms of literature, information about Stith Thompson`s Motif Index of Folk Literature, pre-Islamic Turkish folk motifs, handling of Turkish motifs in texts-text analysis.
