Goals
|
The aim of this course is to examine the principles and alternative approaches to the management, development, use, and evaluation of library digital collections in various types of libraries. In this context students will be able to learn theoretical and pragmatic aspects of the selection, evaluation, and management of electronic collections in all types of libraries. Also students will be able to learn acquisitions, publishers and publishing, policy making, and intellectual freedom and censorship.
