Goals
|
The main aim of the course is to examine varieties, catalogs and on the Ottoman education and scientific life the contributions of the libraries, established in the Ottoman era. Students are expected to have knowledge of the process of library cultivation in the Ottoman Empire.

Content
|
Within the scope of this course, the collections, types, catalogs of libraries established in the Ottoman period, their contributions to the Ottoman education and scientific life are examined and studies are carried out to ensure that students have information about the development process of the library culture in the Ottoman Empire.
