    Goals The Course aims to analyse the global and the regional powers` policies towards the Black Sea, which turned into a geopolitical region and has been the scene of struggle for influence since the dissolution of the USSR.
    Content BSEC, Montreux Convention, Grand Chessboard, Euro-Atlantic Strategy for the Black Sea, goal of "a Europe whole, free and at peace", NATO and EU enlargements in the Black Sea region and the Alliance`s and the Union`s partnership policies, goals of "Greater Europe", "Near Abroad" and Eurasian Union, Turkish-Russian cooperation in the Black Sea, cooperation among the coastal countries of the Black Sea, global and regional powers` policies on the pipeline struggle and on the frozen conflicts, Russia-Georgia War and the Ukraine Crisis will be analysed in the course.
