    Learning Outcomes
    1-Define the basic concepts of curriculum development in education.
    2-Relate theoretical foundations of curriculum development (philosophical, social, economic etc.) in education.
    3-Recognize the basic dimensions and characteristics of the program development process, which includes purpose, content, learning-teaching process and evaluation.
    4-Compares the models of curriculum development and evaluation.
    5-Identify the problems related to the education programs and teaching area.
    6-Uses the theoretical and practical knowledge gained in the field of expertise in the field of program development in education.

    Goals In order to achieve this aim, the issues such as the relationship between learning and education programs, the structure of the subject area and the design of the training programs, the criteria for the program development specialist, will be discussed during the planning of the training programs. This course is a basic course which is a prerequisite for further studies in curriculum and instruction.
    Content In this course, the structure of the curriculum development program, program editing, program making, scientific explanation of concepts such as program patching, the principles of the program development process, the problems in the process of development of the program and the solution ways will be gained knowledge and skills.
