    Learning Outcomes
    1-Explain basic concepts such as culture, gender, identity and individual difference.
    2-Evaluate the elements of popular culture in terms of gender.
    3-Analyze cultural elements in terms of gender.
    4-Explain how changing demographic structure affects schools.
    5-Define the concept of multicultural education.
    6-Define the effects of cultural differences on communication, perception and world view.
    7-Compare the concepts of diversity, discrimination, racism, sexism, prejudice, ethnocentrism, stereotypes, exclusion, integration, assimilation, cultural pluralism, equality and justice.
    8-Identify the appropriate teaching strategies for increasing cultural diversity.

    Goals The aim of this course is to realize the importance of developing a training program that promotes awareness of multiculturalism and gender issues for educators and social scientists.
    Content In this course, the definition of concepts related to culture and education, characteristics of multicultural education, critical and ethical thinking skills, application of multicultural education in the classroom, gender, gender, gender identity, differences between gender and gender, the consequences of gender stereotypes It will be discussed. The aim of this course is to examine the effects of prejudice, stereotypes, racism, sexism and cultural differences on educational programs. In this course, taking into account different world views, it will be emphasized that future teachers will develop behavioral styles that will enable all different cultural groups to offer their children equal and fair education opportunities.
