    Goals The aim of the course is to analyze the relation between capitalism and modernization.
    Content The emerge of modernity and the effect of capitalism on this process are discussed. After then, the role of capitalism on the modernization of the mon-western countries are mentioned. And, the course is concluded by discussing the relation of globalization and postmodernity with modernity.
