    Goals The importance of social capital in the development of developing countries cannot be denied. A detailed social capital literature survey in developing countries will be conducted and country implementations will be carried out. One of the aims of the course is to ask the following questions about social capital: is social capital a useful concept to understand political and economic behavior? Do you have measures of social capital, if so, what are they? Can it be applied to economic models? Do the social capital approaches present strategies for developing countries?
