Goals
|
The main aim of the course is to examine the differences observed between traditional archiving and digital archiving and to be aware of them. At the same time, the course aims to contribute to the development of the correct models of current debates and archival of digital content about traditional archiving, electronic archiving and records management.

Content
|
In this course comparisons are made between past and present methods in the management of public documents. At the same time determinations whether or not the models adopted today will meet the needs in the future are made. In this context, the historical adventure of the archive, developments affecting the emergence of contemporary archive discipline, the emergence of records management, electronic records management and features, digital content management, the impact of digital content management on archiving and national records management policies are among the subjects of this course.
