Dersin İçeriği
|
Porcelain is the most excellent ceramic type with four distinctive features, whiteness, transparency, hardness and distinctive ringing. The porcelain, imported from the 9th century to the Islamic lands, and to Europe after the 16th century, has important effects on both the aristocratic taste and the local ceramic traditions. For centuries, craftsmen have tried to solve the secret of production of porcelain and to produce ceramics that mimic it. The traces of the historical meaning and value of porcelain are seen in modern art, literature and diplomacy.
