    3-Identifies psychotherapy as a clinical intervention method and its aims.
    4-Comments on the important components and ethical issues related to the psychotherapy process.
    5-Identifies the relationship of clinical psychology with the other fields of psychology.

    Goals The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the field of clinical psychology, the clinical assessment approaches and the practice of psychotherapy as a clinical intervention method.
    Content The content of this course includes topics such as the past, present and future of clinical psychology discipline, professional issues in clinical psychology, the basic features of clinical assessment and methods used in psychological assessment, definition and aims of psychotherapy as a clinical intervention method, essential components of the psychotherapy process and ethical issues related to psychotherapy practice.
