    Learning Outcomes
    1-Compares differences according to levels of development of algae, fungi, lichens, and the seedless plants.
    2-Summarizes the general knowledge about morphology, reproductive patterns and physiology of algae, fungi, lichens, and seedless plants.
    3-Explains with examples habitats, ecological and economic values of algae, fungi, lichens, bryophytes and ferns.
    4-Writes the Latin name to which category a Cryptogam instance belongs, at least at the Divisio level.
    5-Makes microscopic-macroscopic drawings and show on the figure important parts of a cryptogamic sample.

    Goals It is the practical and comparative teaching of the biology of Cyanobacteria and all other cryptogams (algae, fungi, lichens, liverworts, hornworts, mosses, club-mosses, horsetails and ferns) with examples.
    Content Cyanobacteria, divisions of eukaryotic algae, fungi, bryophytes and ferns. The biology of these organisms. General and characteristic features, definitions and classifications, origins, evolutionary development, reproduction, habitat, location in the ecosystems, distribution. The comperatively description of ecological and economic importance of these organisms. The specimens from our country. Blue green algae specimens, the specimens of divisions of eukaryotic algae, fungi, liverworts hornworts, moss, club-mosses, horsetails and ferns. The systematics, microscopic-macroscopic examinations and drawings of these organisms.
