    Goals The main aim of this course is to discuss the internal and external factors that lead to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and to evaluate the results.
    Content In the first part of the course, the developments in the period from the French Revolution to the Crimean War will be discussed within the framework of the concepts of Eastern Question, Modernization and European Concert. Second part of the course, Ottoman foreign policy will be examined in the light of internal political developments and reforms.
