Law number of 5662, accepted on 17th of May 2007, was gone into effect by the time it was published in the Official Gazette on 29th of May 2007. Çankırı Karatekin University, established in the Central Anatolia Region in accordance with the Article 79 of the relevant law, continues its education and training in the province of Çankırı and its surrounding districts with a structure consisting of 5 Institutes, 10 Faculties, 1 College, 9 Vocational Schools, 1 Common Courses Coordination Unit and 14 Research Centers.
