To contribute to the scientific studies in the field of child development, to propose solutions to the problems in the field in our country, to produce knowledge by making researches in the field of child development and to conduct studies in accordance with scientific ethics.

To educate child development specialists who are able to be family counselor, prepare and implement developmental support programs, take part in research and implementation projects, use scientific methods and techniques, prone to interdisciplinary work, dependent on ethical values, able to make diagnosis and evaluation for the development of 0-18 age group of children with normal development, special needs, acute and chronic disease, need for protection and developmental risk.
