    5-Explain the mechanical and electromagnetic wave motions. Explain and calculate heat and temperature concepts and heat transfer.

    Goals To comprehend the importance of physics in professional sense, to gain the competence to apply the physics knowledge and skills required for the profession. To provide the necessary physics background to improve the ability to process, to make comments, to complete the associate degree program and to better understand the subjects in other vocational courses.
    Content Measurement, scalar and vectorial quantities and their differences, resultant force and separation of a force into its components. Movement information, path, velocity, acceleration and time relation and drawing and interpretation of graphics. Movement types and simple problems, drawing and interpreting their graphics. Dynamic; Laws related to dynamics and calculation of dynamical problems. Equilibrium, conditions and calculation. Moment and moment problems. Center of gravity and calculation. Properties of materials, oxidation and damages, oxidation prevention methods. Hook`s law, problems with tension and compression, drawing tensile test graphics. Work, power and energy. Computation of simple problems on the subject Hydrostatics and basic concepts. Pressure principles and pressure measuring devices and their use in fluids. Waves and sound. Mechanical and electromagnetic waves, properties and applications. Sound and its properties. Temperature and temperature measuring instruments. Expansion of objects by heat.
