Today, historical information about Landscape Architecture is very limited. As in the world examples of Anatolia, which carries the works of an architectural culture, the aim is to gain theoretical knowledge to support the reflection of the original examples of the open space and green space culture today. It is necessary to accelerate the restoration works to be done in historical environments.

Protection concept, development and theoretical basis of conservation thought, the concept of historical environment, historical environmental protection concept, ımportance of historical environmental protection, purpose and necessity of historical environmental protection, development stages of historical environmental protection are explained. In addition, the importance of green areas in historical environment protection, problems encountered in historical city centers, the importance of urban design / urban landscape design in the preservation of historical city centers, architectural structure and plant material drainage, restoration project preparation and restoration techniques are explained.
