Goals

This course helps students to basic concepts related to special education, children in need of special education characteristics, aims to provide information on issues such as education and families.

Basic concepts of special education, the basic principles and history of special education, reasons for having special needs and prevalence of children requiring special education, diagnosis and evaluation of special education, children with mental disabilities, children with visual impairment, children with hearing impairment, children with physical disabilities, children with language and speech disorders, children with specific learning difficulties, gifted children, children with adaptation difficulties, the importance of inclusive education, families with children with special needs.
