    Goals In this course, the aim is to provide students with knowledge, analysis and synthesis skills on disability concepts, legal regulations, policies for disabled people and social work practices.
    Content This course focuses on the basic concepts of disability, disabled groups, legal regulations on disability, the effects of disability on the individual, family and society, and social work practices for the disabled.

    1 Explains the historical development, basic concepts and terms and application areas (such as health, education, social security, civil society, local government) of the social work field. 3

    3 Recognizes other fields related to social work (psychology, sociology, law, public administration, child development, gerontology, health management, etc.) and establishes the connection of social work with these fields. 2

    5 Gains the ability to apply basic research skills and research methods and techniques to follow national and international scientific developments in social work. -
