Goals
|
The aim of this course is to teach the basic scope, methods, concepts and theories of teaching psychology, and to support them in developing a scientific perspective that will help them understand human behavior in health and disease processes.

Content
|
The main topics, concepts and subfields of psychology are introduced in the scope of this course. Subjects such as the definition of psychology, its relations with other disciplines, subfields of psychology, biological basis of behavior, personality, learning, intelligence, cognitive processes, health psychology and illness cognitions are among the topics to be examined in this course.
