    Goals This course aims to analyse the conceptual framework and the development of Turkish foreign policy and its crucial events/crises together with the reasons and consequences, in the context of the changing international system since the Turkish War of Independence to 1980. To this end, the primary actors in foreign policy and decision making processes will be evaluated in the context of the relationship between foreign and domestic politics and the interactions between political, economic, military and cultural factors in the foreign policy making process.
    Content Theoretical Framework of Turkish Foreign Policy, Implementation of Turkish Foreign Policy, Turkish Foreign Policy during the War of Independence Years (1919 - 1923), Turkish Foreign Policy during the Inter-War Period (1923 - 1939), Turkish Foreign Policy during the World War II (1939 - 1945), Turkish Foreign Policy during the Cold War (1945 - 1960), Turkish Foreign Policy during the Cold War (1960 - 1980) are evaluated in the course.
