Goals
|
This course aims to analyse the conceptual framework and the development of Turkish foreign policy and its crucial events/crises together with the reasons and consequences, in the context of the changing international system since the Turkish War of Independence to 1980. To this end, the primary actors in foreign policy and decision making processes will be evaluated in the context of the relationship between foreign and domestic politics and the interactions between political, economic, military and cultural factors in the foreign policy making process.
