Goals
|
The objective of this course is to present basic concepts, models and theories on public policies. In this course, students are expected to be familiar with concepts, actors, processes and theories related to the public policy. Phases of determining the policy problem, determining alternative policies, evaluation of alternatives and main evaluation methods, desicion on policy, application of the decision on policy, following and reviewing applied policies are reviewed.

Definition, types and features of public policy, actors of public policy, agenda-setting, formulation, implementation, evaluation, change and termination of public policies, public policy models, public policies in Turkey.
