Dersin Amacı
|
To let the students acquire the basic knowledge related to the form characteristics such as prosody, rhyme and redif mostly used in poetry in Old Turkish literature and enable them to understand the divan poetry and shape enjoyment of poetry.

The harmony components of Old Turkish poetry, the information about the source of ?aruz prosody? and Turkish aruz which is one of the main components of Old Turkish poetry. The differences between aruz prosody and syllabic meter, and some terms those should have known such as bahir, tef?ile, takti related to aruz before doing exercises, types of syllable in Aruz, information related to the prosody applications such as imâle, med, ulama, sekt, kasr, zihaf.
