    Goals The definition and subject of history, the role of historical studies in social development, relations between history and other sciences, auxiliary disciplines to history, types of historiography, oral and written sources of history.
    Content To teach the definition and subject of history, define the role of historical studies in social development, relate history to other sciences, explain the auxiliary disciplines, analyse the types of historiography, and evaluate historical sources through the methods of analysis, critique and synthesis.
