    Learning Outcomes
    1-Students applies problem solving methods to all engineering areas.
    2-Analyzes and explains basic kinematics concepts (displacement, velocity, acceleration and time).
    3-Analyzes and explains basic dynamic concepts (force, mass, momentum, work and energy).
    4-Applies Newton`s second movement law.
    5-Applies basic kinetic concepts such as work-energy principle and collision coefficient.

    Goals To provide the students with the ability to apply these concepts in basic and applied courses such as fluid mechanics, hydraulics, vibrations theory and structural dynamics as developing the skills of vector mechanics to apply dynamic problems to real-world engineering scenarios.
    Content Kinematics and kinetics of particles; Newton`s second movement law; work-energy and impulse-momentum methods; particle systems; kinematics and kinetics of rigid bodies which make planar motion; planar motion of rigid bodies.
