Goals
|
The aim of this course is to have general knowledge of forestry and to comprehend the importance of forestry activities in terms of social, legal and technical aspects.

|
The basic concepts used in forestry, in Turkey`s forestry organization and history, Turkey and forests in the world, forest functions in forest management, forestry purposes, forestry principles, protection of forests, development and maintenance activities, in Turkey`s forestry activities, classification of output of the forestry operations, forestry forest, the importance of plant and animal inventories, the role of stakeholders in sustainable forestry activities, legal regulations on forest-human relations, occupational safety in forestry activities and health and in Turkey, protected areas constitute the course content.
